I have heard your confession I know who you blame

Don't bring me the pieces of your shattered cross

Hey yall. just finished looking at the post from last years trip. If there is room available i would like to join in plus 1. Greenwood is a great lake no matter how busy
I don't have have GPS numbers for you maybe someone else might be able to help with that. In the time being here is what I can provide you with:
It looks like the closest public boat access is almost straight across the lake at Moon's Landing (4105 Watts Bridge Road, Cross Hill, SC - (864) 998-4292). This should be a short 10 minute paddle to the island.

Thanks Muskrat. Put me down in the hopeful column. I went through every page of the last thread and found lots of good info on the logistics.
We have a family place across and down from goat island at one of the new campgrounds. Looks like a couple mile paddle if I leave my truck there. Shouldnt be bad in May, but crossing the lake in summertime in a canoe from there might be interesting with the boats stirring up the water!
