    2011 May Hang Linville Gorge

Hey all! I am getting stoked about the Annual Hang in the Linville Gorge, NC in May!

I would like to ask what time-frame we are looking at. My schedule is already out through April and I need to act fast to set aside time.

Can we start to work this soon?

    Tentative Schedule

My current plans are to set aside the 19th through the 22nd of May for this trip--I expect a great time.

I will be there at Hawksbill (HB) parking area the 20th and spend the night. The next day will drop into the gorge for the remainder, climbing out the 22nd. Spending the night at HB possibly and head back to work. Depart the 23rd.

I look forward to seeing you gals and guys again!

Please look up the Linville Gorge Hang in 2010 on the forum for the maps, directions. I will try to post some in the future.

Well, looks like many are not (so far interested?) in the May 2011 hang at the Gorge per the link and all.

If any are interested and don't want to register and whatnot at the other site, lets kick this thing off!

We need to (I have to for work reasons) schedule this very, very soon.

As I mentioned in the above posts, I will be there.

    Chime in!

It is for sure going to be a backpacking trip and not a drive-up.
That is the intel I have gotten.

Crazytrain, his son and I just did a mighty dayhike down Henson. Beautiful day! May will be here before you know it.

    Better get your Gorge on!
