What do you think of the angle of my dangle??

So what you think of my dangle angle? But seriously? do i need a bit higher of an angle? Also, I just made the PLUQ, and this weekend will be my first lay with it and I just did this test lay and I have a question.

So the support line for the PLUQ on the right side (foot box side of my WBBB) slides under my feet causing the UQ to slide out from under me. Its like i need to increase the angle of the support line so it goes over my foot but Im not sure how. Im a super short guy 5'5, so the PLUQ is almost full length for me and it seems to just get all tangled at my feet. any suggestions how to fix that would be great!

Ill let you know how the hang goes!

angle on your blackbird looks good, at least to me...

i'm no UQ expert, but where does your shock cord attack to the blackbird? mine just goes around the end nubs of the blackbird and this keeps my UQ in place

I'd bring the foot end up quite a bit.

Ummm... how big is that "tree" on the right? Just sayin'...

Looks good otherwise. If you feel yourself sliding toward the foot end, then raise that end. Triangle thingie will cure the quilt/footbox problem.

Yeah i used to use the thicker one to the far right edg of the shot, but the strap would rub. but then i tried the skinny one, tested it with my wife in hammock first (shes about 60lbs lighter than me). found that the skinnt tree is strong as hell. that tree can hold both me and my wife in the hammock (almost 300 lbs) with no problem.

Looks good to me too, with the UQ suspension I make sure it's over the top of the footbox and then it will stay there once I'm in.
