Let us know how the Kaito works for you, I've been considering purchasing a handcrank but have read mixed review on signal reception and fine tuning the channels. Looks like everbody got some awesome gear/supplies. I got a new tomahawk/trail axe, 3 books I've been wanting on edible plants, some odds and ends basics for my survival kit, and ripped off by some scam artist ebayer out west. been a month and now I'm waiting on Paypal to settle it. You'ld think it be instant considering ebay canceled the auction because she's a scammer and I hope she reads this. Sorry everyone else I really needed to vent. Other wise I'd have myself a new cookpot. But that's okay I will get one when I get my paypal settlement.

I may take it on short trips, but it's mainly for car camping and the beach. The radio works well so far.

My wife got me a sewing machine, my one son got me mini-clamps because when I made the last tarp I was using any clips I could to make the sewing easier. Very cool on his part.

I got a complete gear making power tool.

Just finished snake skins for my tarp. Next is 2 12 x 8 tarps. I need to get more 1.9 ripstop so I can try a bridge hammock someday.
