In preperation for my likely trip to Vanuatu, I ordered a Clark Tropical 2
It has arrived and I am quite excited.
I felt that the NX150 would be to hot in the jungle,
and when I leave the island, will leave the hammock with a Missionary.
I am really impressed with the Tropical model,
again very well made.
It is a completely differant lay, mind you because of the attached fly
it needs a longer distance between attachments,
and my basement setup is rigged for the 150,
So, I haven't tried it set up proper. Only need another 10"
May try down by the river later.
Funny thing about it . . . when laying in it I was wearing a Tee shirt and a T-neck and a shirt,
and the basement is normaly 15°C or 60°F
as I lay there I was cold from underneath,
and in the NX150 I was OK . . .
I guess the pockets help more that I figured,
even knowing that the NX150 will be a little warm in the jungle.
I am wondering if I prefer the lay of the NX150 . . .
I may have to order one with out pockets . . . ?
Photos as they come . . .
