    Hennessy Stay Warm Sale

I got an email from Hennessy, as probably many of you did as well, and they have a sale on a SS and overcover combo.

You get both for under $100. I do not know if I am allowed to post this not, but I just wanted to let everyone know.

    Just ordered

    Just ordered....

Finally gave in to the face that I am allergic to down (snore like a buzzsaw when it is around), and will never have a down quilt.
and my grand plans for a PLUQ just never seemed to pan out.
    So I bought one.

I just could not justify a KAQ even though I really wanted it.

But for $99, I will give it a shot.

And picked up the 2 person heatsheet space blanket from Bass pro to go under.

I will post results after my first hang.

That is a good sale! I would like to try and get in on that. I already have a JRB nest UQ though. Has anybody tried using both the HH supershelter and an UQ? Would it work? Pros, Cons, condensation problems? I would love to do a winter hang in the snow.

I just did on Friday night. SS with JRB No Sniveler. 2 tips: make sure space blanket completely wraps the SS pad, and UQ goes over SS, not inside. Zero condensation/frost issues with this set up. 7F when I woke up - toasty warm!
