    Side Sleeper Question

I am a side sleeper, and would probably be most comfortable atleast semi-fetal. My current hammock is not cutting it, and I was planning on buying a JRB BMB hammock, because of all the positive feedback on side sleeping in them. However, I saw a comment the other day that suggested that it was difficult to lay fetal in a bridge hammock. My question is... Would I be able to get better results trying to lay flat semi-fetal in the BMBH or in a gathered end with tyouts such as the WBBB?

BMBH allows for a very semi-fetal, but very flat lay. The WBBB allows for a more fetal position but not as flat of lay. Both are comfortable hammocks.

Shoot, maybe I'll just go your route and get both! Thanks for the advice.

I'm a side sleeper & can find a sweet spot in the WBBB.
My lower back feels the best after a nights sleep in the WBBB

I lay on my right side - feet in footbox
my torso & head are closer to the shelf
    Tho I am 5'3" and 115lbs
which might make a difference in how the hammock lays for a larger person

    good luck!

I am a side and stomach sleeper but have always slept great in my WBBB. I change positions throughout the night but I always seem to end up laying on my back anyways. I just end up where its comfortable I guess.

I start on my side and end up on my back in my sleep... both are quite comfortable in a BB.

I'm a side sleeper at home and always have had trouble getting a full side sleep in any hammock. I always try to get side diagonal lay but always end up mostly back, partial side fetal postition. I think the fetal position is more so to stay warm for me.

I do just fine in a fetal in my expedition, blackbird, but not so much grand trunk ul.

I sleep on my left side at home or in my WBBB hammock - no problems. Never tried a bridge hammock.

I sleep on my side in both my DIY gathered end and my WBBB semi and complete fetal are extremely comfortable. I find i like to roll more on my stomach, feet in the foot box and my head near the zipper. On either side stretched out or fetal. As soon as I lay on my back I snore like a bear and wake myself up.
