    Hammock Bliss

I am just starting the hammock camping thing. I am wanting to purchase a Hammock Bliss Ultralite. I was wondering how this compares to other ones. I am also looking to buy the hammock bliss all-purpose shelter. Does anyone know anything about this hammock and if so what kind of results are you having? I live in Iowa where it is hot during the summer and rainy in the spring.

    Any information would help.

I've heard bad things about Hammock Bliss in reviews on Amazon. I would suggest you check out Grand Trunk's stuff instead. Their hammocks range from $15-$50, and the nicer ones (Skeeter Beeter) have integrated bugnets.

I have a Hammokbliss ultralite and the quality is on par with other brands such as ENO.
I have not used mine very much because of other hammocks I have. Let me know if you want to buy mine. It's in excellent condition and you'd save a bit of money.

I have the Hammock Bliss noseeum. It's sturdy, comfy, and versatile. IMO it's too bulky to backpack with but great for the backyard.

I sleepp nightly and backpack the HB double. Its also my test bench hammock so its sees its fair share of abuse. the quality is on par or better than the other parachute style hammocks on the market. Just be aware that the size of the ultralite is not extremely large but a lot of people use that size hammock without issue.

I also have the noseeum bug net that works well but is a bit bulky. No lack in durability or build quality though
    ...in it for pics.

I have the Hammock Bliss No-See-Um bug net and I'm happy with it. We found ours on sale and didn't have time to make DIY bug nets before we went on a trip. It is bulky and heavy, but seems well made. It has pockets at each end on the inside which are very handy. Has plenty of room and is easy to use. Would have preferred something lighter and more compact, like the Warbonnet travel net, but the price was right. I can't speak for their other products, but based on this one item, I would say they are of good quality for the price.

I have a Bliss and can not tell the difference from my ENO. Same color combo and appears to be the same material. Nothing wrong with either one of'em.

I've been using a HB for 5 years now with a D.I.Y. camo bugnet ala scittlefield works fine! Use the Claytor camo diamond tarp with it.

The first hammock I got was a Hammock Bliss Triple. Me and my wife both slept in it (we found out that was great for the first few hours, then we were too much on top of each other and kept waking up). It was great quality though! Also have the shelter and bugnet. They too are of great quality! A little heavy/bulky for my likes so dont get used very much. We still use the hammock alot for afternoon naps!
