That is the stock ENO knot...no idea what it's called. Don't try to replicate it. Just thread your loop through the channel, and then back through itself to form a larkshead knot.

It appears to be a prussic on the buckle, and a bowline on the hammock side!

As Cranky Bear said, that's a prussic knot on the buckle. Do that first.

Then, thread the loop through the channel end of the hammock, pass the buckle through the loop, snug it up, and you're done.

What kind of cinch buckles do you have?
If you have the kind from AHE you need to put the amsteel or whatever cordage you are using through the two buckles and then make the continuous loop. It is not recommended to larkshead a loop through the two buckles as it could affect their proper use.

That's a pic from my ENO.

The pic is of Spyderline tied in a prussik knot on a cinch buckle, then the standing ends of the line are run through the hammock end channel and tied back onto itself via a bowline knot. Very secure.

Like the others say, tie the prussik first.

Good stuff! My caution was only for the AHE cinch buckles.

    ENO Knot

Here is what the ENO knot looks like on the inside. Like others have said, I would not try to replicate it. There are other suitable knots without the complications of this one.
    If you want to try..
start by forming two loops through the channel. ie..make 2 eyes/circles and tie the ends together.
The other piece is just knotting in the bight like a truckers hitch.
