Thanks to all for a nice winter hang! Special thanks to the organizers of the hang and to the vendors who participated in the raffle. I am looking forward to using my raffle winnings!

I posted a few pictures on my flickr account in the Mount Rogers Winter Hang (January 2011) set.

Mac--thanks for the video! Nice recap. Mine will be up soon, and I'll have the reverse angle of the buried camera!

Sure was great meeting you and Thing 1. You are both good breakfast company.

good hang and good jokes. awesome to meet everyone and see some innovative stuff: most notably WV's perpendicular hammock. man that thing is comfortable.
the lay reminds me of seeing this commercial when playing hooky from school:

it was also cool to learn they are actually WV clips and biners, not Dutch

a bridge hmmk is in my very near future thanks to the jacks allowing me take one of theirs for a test drive.

good food. warm fire. gear and trail talk. NO WORK talk is nice.

had a blast at my first group hang. Stayed snug in my incubator and mamba.
tarp doors on the bigmamajamba are awesome. panel pulls are cool too, kept those 25mph gusts at bay Sat. night.

Thanks to HF and Grayson H. for a great time.

Thanks, Rip. I think of it as "the right-angle hammock" (because for me, comfort is just a matter of sleeping at the right angle.) But you've got me thinking about perpendicularity; I wonder if you could make a hammock that lets you sleep standing up and only needs one tree.

Bite your tongue! You'll get us both in trouble! Remember, "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!" Sad to say, we are all living proof of that (almost all).
