Mad, I might "borrow" that from you. I wanted to open my slideshow with it but was too lazy to recharge my camera battery and even lazier to scan it.

I want to say thanks to all, specially Islander, Fizer,Damifino,Edhess,Sunnytrike, for organizing the event! It was a pleasure meeting all who attended. What a great bunch. Made it in late Fri. night and got help from Andy finding me a couple of trees! Guess I could go on aswell. The boil and gumbo was great!. My special treat was the old southern style biscuits and ham for breakfast while we were waiting for the mountain man breakfast to finish cookin' in the DO. And Sandykayak for bringing the kitchen sink!

I'm still on a high (good pun!) from this hang. My lesson learned was to always keep extra socks in the hammock pocket....I couldn't find my socks and thought I was going to get frostbite...my big toes were hurting big time.

Is there any way for someone to write the names of the people in the group photo?

I believe someone mentioned a DVD....but a DVD of people's pictures would be a fabulous souvenir. We could buy them and add some $$$ to the fund.

I was going to mention Felix....super nice kid. He came up with some really special thoughts...ie about how animals give love (something like that)....

MAD777 was so helpful...especially rigging up the JRB Shenandoah SUMMER UQ etc.... Everyone was friendly and I was thinking..."This IS my comfort level."

I was amazed at how OK the privy was...Beats s***ing in the woods any day.

Can anyone track down the "ranger" who took photos of my set up and my wooden sign? I'd love to have the pix.

Anyone have a shot of ldcakes' hammock hanging from her rental SUV and one tree?

A multi-day on the Suwannee is on my bucket list...but I need plenty of advance notice to plan that one.
