looks like we have a few ohioans. Any group gatherings planned already for the Ohio Valley area? I'd love to have the chance to meet some of the members, check out some hammocks, and discuss some DIY customizations.

Welcome to the board.I'll PM ya some hikes we do in the area. Generally overnight hikes around the Tristate to training hikes in before our yearly AT section hike in Spring. I'll PM you some upcoming dates and locations if you are interested.

Yes I'm interested. Please send me info on the hikes and what you know about the yearly AT section hike in Spring. I appreciate it. I'm also planning to overnight at East Fork State Park and Shawnee State Park. Do you have any experience with Shawnee?

Please send the info. Not sure I'll be ready for a winter hang. I just got my hammock and don't have the OQ or UQ yet. I was checking out Shug's Peapod system and was wondering if one of my mummy bags could be used.
