do you get refunded for the boat? They couldn't get there friday or saturday or both?
Could have been worse .. You all could have been stuck on the island until Tuesday ... Glad you had fun with your back up plan. I am interested in another Michigan hang .. Anyone interested in the first week of June ... like the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd ??? I am hopefully off that week. I have a Tiger game planned for Sunday the 29th ... and a party on the 30th, but from there I should be free if anyone wants to do a short trip ???

I think a couple of us might be doing the Ohio hang at the end of the month but I'd be willing to do an overnight at Pinckney on a Friday but I need to confirm things

A bonus was we met a new guy who has been hammock hanging for a long time but knew nothing of this site. He does now. As for a refund there was no issue there. They were happy to give full refunds to everyone.

We did a small day hike at the MRT. A nice trail and enjoyable moment for everyone.

Well better safe then sorry. The island will be waiting for you another day. Glad you had a place to go and from what I saw the weather was decent. I was on top a high rise, along the lake front of Chicago, looking out on Lake Michigan and dreaming of Manitou. Could picture you guys hiking along. So did you give the new person a name?
