I got an idea when I was walking around the house with the muchies the other night. As I was sitting there munching away on some tasty Salt and Pepper chips I realized that the little 'chip clip' I use to seal the bag when I'm done being a pig would make a perfect way to seal the pack liner. Weight is 0.1oz and super easy to use.

Cannibal, what ULA pack is that? I got my bags. They fit perfectly in my larger Mountainsmith pack but seem big for my smaller ULA Conduit.

It's a Catalyst. It is just about perfect size for it. Still have plenty of room on top for a couple of small stuff sacks of things that can get damp/wet, so it gives me the perfect balance of flexibility and effectiveness. What you're looking at in the pic is everything (winter) except food, so it's basically a full pack.

I'm looking at either a Conduit or Circut for the warmer months because this thing will be overkill then. You like your Conduit?

I've got a Circuit, and I love it. To me it's the perfect size.

Probably should have gone with something smaller to begin with, but being new to the whole LDH thing I figured I'd error on the side of caution. My gear has changed quite a bit over the last several months also, which reduced the bulk a lot. Oh well, it will be perfect when I try the CDT in a couple of years.

I got the Conduit before I discovered hammocks this past year. I'm just a weekend hiker so the Conduit still works for my hammock setup in summer. Yeah, I like it but now I wish I had a larger ULA pack.

For colder months, I need to go to my bigger Mountainsmith Phantom. My stuff doesn't weigh that much but has lots of volume. In summer I'm below 20 pounds for pack weight. (Trying to get to 15.) In colder temps I'm closer to 25 in my pack.

I received my package last week but have been quite busy moving to a new house so I haven't yet tried the bags out in my pack yet. But I did want to post and say thanks to pure_mahem for a job well-done
