    Temperature question

Does anyone know the site where you can find out temperatures at certain locations? I think Griz posted it once, but I can't find it.

We spent the night on Springer Mtn, and trying to find out just how low the temps got. We got readings from 17 to 24 degrees with the thermometers inside the hammocks. Cerberus had his on his back under his hammock and covered with his rain jacket and it read 20 degrees. Lots of wind gust all night. It was great!

I will say that all I had was a DWR hammock sock, my potomac underquilt, homemade top quilt, and a cheap down jacket on my feet and I was comfy. As far as clothes I had on a Patagonia Cap 3 top, silk thermal pants, patagonia Cap 3 pants, some walmart nylon running pants, and thick wool socks. I was very pleased that my setup got me that low, even with the wind gusts. Now I know I am ready for my thru hike this year.

i'm not sure what that weather site was or what you would need to enter as the location, but i'm sure we'll find out.
did you have the thermometer covered to protect it from wind? if so, that's not necessary. the wind doesn't effect the temp reading on a thermometer... just us<g>.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
