Stormcrow's 3/4 underquilt arrived today! WOW, in the basement I have a rafter hang system and down there-its not heated, about 50 degrees I guess, after a little confusion on how to attach it. I got it on and jumped in, within a minute I could feel the body heat reflected back on the upper back and torso, works great. AS light as could be... Awesome!

Summer, 3 season, or winter? I'm having stormcrow make me a summer top quilt with the new momentum 50. I am undecided so far between stormcrow's pheonix and leigh's 2/3 underquilt.

This was a 3/4 project with black on the inside so I can sun dry it, and camo on the outside... As I am about to turn 50 I can honestly say I am done hiking in the winter. So with that I decided to build a three season set up and I have one more purchase to make. a Camo UL Hennessy.
