Hmmm - I just received an ENO Ember Underquilt that I could not resist buying due to the low price on Amazon. Had watched the review vids and was intrigued by the closure system. However, there is no closure system on mine! The ENO tag says there is one - but nothing. No clip, no bungee, no nada. Wondering if anyone else has recently bought one without the system? I have a message into ENO as well and will report back.

Would love to hear more about it, maybe a review with some pictures or a video? Information is hard to find on this product

I am a Hot sleeper so I am thinking about this as a UQ along with my mummy bag

    any info would help

Yes, this is what we currently use with our doubles. Works well for down to about 45 degrees, add a down throw (pined to the poncho liner, on the outside between the poncho liner and hammock) to bring it down more in temperature. Still not for winter hammocking though.

So it turns out that the Ember is no longer equipped with a closer system. I spoke with ENO and they decided it was not worth the extra weight and the redesign supposedly pretty much closes up anyway. I am not finding that is the case. Disappointed.

Wow thanks for the heads up. I was considering buying one.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

I bought an eno underquilt and was very excited! I opened it up and my excitement quickly turned to major disappointment. I was just disappointed all the way around. I returned it and ordered a Incubator from HG. I am very happy with the UQ. I would say run from the eno ember.

ENO discontinued shock cord cinch strap

After watching a couple ENO Ember UQ Youtube reviews showing the shock corded cinch strap system I decided to order one through my local REI store. Just received the UQ today and was disappointed to discover that it did not have the shock corded cinch strap system. Also, it does not have the strip of material on the top edges having the ENO label every couple of inches as is shown in one of the 4 product photos on their own web site. I e-mailed ENO about these issues and let them know that I will be returning this product to my local REI store. Guess I'll have to find another UQ for my ENO Double Nest. Too bad.
