You can use the Dutch clip in conjunction with the triglide. The advantage is you don't have to remove the webbing from the triglide. You have to have the Dutch Clip on the end and the the triglide in the middle. Then the webbing continues to the hammock, through a loop of some sorts, and finally back to the triglide.

Shows how new I am to this. I have a Skeeter Beeter Pro; It has a biner attached to cord running through the channel and I didn't even know there was such a thing as a strap suspension system. I bought 4' poly simple slings from strapworks.com and was thinking Dutch Clips to snug the hugger to the tree (ala Shug's videos) then I saw the Tri-Glides and wondered if they could be used instead of Dutch Clips. I also bought whoopie slings to attach to the hammock itself, and a couple of their soft shackles just in case.

OK, option #2, which is really how I figured on doing it. I still have some Dynema* to attach the webbing to the hammock, Piece of cake. Thanks lots!!

This is the setup I've started using and it is awesome. Lightweight and convenient.
