I took a shovel for quinzee needs if needed, (it was not needed) he brought the auger for THE only important need out there on Flash Lake I learned....water! How could we live without water, hot for the bedtime nalgene, meals, the pint nalgene that had to be neck carried in a pouch always! It pays to go with an experienced back woods, wilderness, kind of guy. He is also a great person too!

On my pulk were snowshoes, shovel, ice auger and the white poles for the pulk puller....just pvc attached to the front. MacEntyre Nelson and I hope to see you on Roan Mtn (especially if it is cold and snowy!). Shug I hope to see you in the Northwoods! Nelson...I hope to see you in church on Sunday! ha ha
