    Thumbs up Hello

Well I am an old retired scout master (kids grown and became soldiers and nurses), after a few years of just the two of us. We packed an old tent I had and some gear on the bike took off to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stayed 2 nights, had a good time until time to sleep!! Well we are alot stiffer than we use to be getting down and up off the ground!!! and it was harder than I remember!!!! Got home and Butterkup (the wife) said can you get us off the ground? I remembered the old jungle hammocks in the a-n surpus stores. Checked out the web and ebay I now have a HH Exp. for me or her and looking for another.
Very glad I found this site!!! thanks to all that post!!

Welcome....I can't say I have the years on me that you do, but I can't sleep on the ground comfortably either. After 2 back surgeries, the hammock is a much more comfortable way to spend the night. This is a great place to learn and meet people.
