Who is going to be on the AT this year

You mean as a thru hiker probably. Lots of us here are section hikers on the AT and many other trails. In Oct. I got off the trail in Vermont and will start where I left off in August/September....Depending on when you leave Springer I may see you.

I am frequently on the AT in PA, MD, WV, and VA. One never knows who you'll run into out there! Drop a line as you get to Central VA, and I may head out and "hang" with you a bit.

2 trips this year, April and July. I hope to knock off a chunk of Southern PA. And a few hundred yards in Damascus, VA in May of course.

I will be going SOBO starting in Franconia Notch, NH to ...... (as far as time permits). I hiked from Mt. Katahdin, ME to Franconia Notch last year. My youngest daughter is getting married in August so I wiil be back for that. She and her fiance thru hiked in '09.
