This is on my calendar and I'll help out wherever needed.

+ 1 on Maple's muffins. She was kind enough to give some to me at the NJ Hang and they were gobbled up in record time.

2Q and Bummer, I travel through your neck of the woods for work - what a beautiful area. If I'm heading through that way, lets talk hammocks.

Since we don't have to pay for the site, can we use the money raised to hire Shug?

myself and bombadil will hopefully be able to attend.

i can run a seminar on how to properly sleep in a hammock. it will have some special qualifications:
    -no lights
    -no questions until 8am
    -no touching of the hammock

my seminar will run from approximately midnight until 8am.

if we have power there, AND i am able to make it i could perhaps do a little seminar on how to make a homemade wood stove out of a coffee can. bombadil could run a demo beside me on how to use it

i don't know what greenlespaul's base weight is but i'm hovering around 12 pounds for most trips. i can certainly entertain questions and help with going to lightweight backpacking...

there is a good chance neither of us might make it - so leave us as tentative plans...

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Sounds great, 2Q!!! I'm really looking forward to this trip.

Like I said, I'll help out wherever I'm needed. I do food service for my FT job, so planning/cooking for a crowd is no big deal to me.

I'd be happy to fire up a dutch oven (or two or three) of chili for us exhibitors throughout the day. That way, we can grab a quick bite while the throngs of onlooking park visitors are marveling at our brilliance and ingenuity. I'd just need a rough idea how much to prepare...

    Can't wait!!!!!!

Sounds awesome! Hopefully I can make it and show off the large amount of new gear I've just paid for May have to upset a boss of mine a little, but probably worth it.
