Spring MAHHA at Pine Grove Furnace State Park April 29-May 1

Glad to hear that cause I don't know much, and don't even know what I should be asking. Coming with a friend to soak up some info, education, and a good time.

We are hoping to learn enough about the various gear choices available to avoid the "unnecessary" stuff, and spend $$$ wisely when gearing up.
Looking to make the transformation from dayhikers to hammock hangers with a little bit of knowledge.

Mostly just coming to meet some folks, have some fun, and maybe log a few miles.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that you are better soon.

Your going to have to pull me off the willing helper list for this hang. Some unexpected health issues have cropped up and hiking and an 8 hour drive have been vetoed by my Primary. Hope you all have a great time, take lots of pictures and videos that will be posted, warm sunny skies and no freezing nights.

As I had already told 2Q & ZQ, I'll unfortunately have to miss this Spring MAHHA. And I sure do hate it.
I have yet to make my first MAHHA trip but I particularly hate to miss this one. It's going to be a Grand Event!
I'll be thinking about you folks this weekend & hoping for all to go smooth.

I hope to learn from your "Hammock Education" endeavors & apply them to the hang planned at Greyson Highlands State Park this fall, so any suggestions will be welcome.
