I'm looking for an ultralight down jacket, preferably either the Montbell UL Inner Jacket or Montbell EX Light, though I'm interested in anything similar to these, also! My only requirements are size Medium, ~12 oz. or less, and relatively warm. I'd also like 800 or better FP, if possible.

quick question: have you made sure the Montbell medium fits? they run small.
I haven't tried one on, but I'm usually between a small and medium. (5'11", 145 pounds) I was going to shoot for a small, because they're always on sale, but I read somewhere else that Montbell's sizing runs small.
dont get a small!
i wear a medium, @ 140 lbs and its just loose enough for a smartwool base layer and a tshirt.
with your dimensions, a medium should work.
I find montbell medium fairly true to size on me... I'm 5'4" 158lbs and I have a bit of a wide back and shoulders.

Also, I feel it necessary to point a finger here, at Mr. Perez, whose MontBell Inner Parka tempted me for nearly a month when it was for sale (I would have bought it, except for the hood!). The damage was done, and I have been pining for a MontBell since!
