And the Coffee Crisp Congregation just grows and grows...
Hello Hammock Forums!
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for sharing their passion for hanging and the outdoors. This forum has been a huge source of entertainment and information for me, going on two years now.
I love the enthusiasm (bordering on insanity) that flows through this website like a fluffy tsunami of love.
I appreciate having a safe and intelligent place to explore my hobby, and that's why I've decided to Buy Jason some Amsteel Blue! or maybe a yard of silnylon...or maybe he'll just use it to keep this amazing forum going without a billion advertisements.
A little note about me, I live in Toronto but Haliburton, Ontario is my old stomping grounds. I loves the rocks and trees and rocks and lakes and rocks and trees... I'm a teacher and I work with a local Scout group, sharing the knowledge I've gained over the years.
My three favourite things to take camping are: My FUBAR emergency kit, my hammock and all the merino wool I can layer on.
I discovered hammock camping while I was looking for ultralight tents and I found a supplier from Thailand on ebay. In great HF spirit, I started off my hammock collection by immediately buying two. I'm a gear nut and an avid DIY'er and I'm always looking for ways to improve my gear to make life easier on the trail and at camp.
Thanks again for all of your sharing!
I'm honoured to join the conversation.
DT
P.S. When is the next Coffee Crisp hang?
