Fabric ?Same same?

Hey guys -quick and silly question.I am in the process of modifying my Shenadoah and Katahdin quilts into dedicated top quilts.I have removed all lashings and stitches and Velcro (the one was already sewn as rectangle bag) and will be sewing up the middle bottom 36inches.to make a long story short I have decided I would like the black on the outside .the question is are the fabrics the same? They appear to be in my eyes and although I have become rather proficient at removing stitches I would rather not do it again -thx

Well all done and am extremely pleased -watching my wife on the sewing machine and a few attempts of my own made me alittle nervous to finish so I made the perfect plan -I just let her do it
P.s-36 inches is too much ,I finished at 30
