Thanks. That makes sense. With a .1" wall thickness I would expect these poles to be really stiff. I have a set of LEKI replacement tips but their ID is ~.375, not sure how to make them fit

Not sure on the BD tips I ordered, but I have a pair of old Mountain Smith poles that I could remove the tips from and they will fit.

That is quick and easy. What is the rubber end cap from?Found some 9" cork rod handles at Academy Sports. Gonna see how they work for grips.

FYI...Gossamer Gear is going to start selling their grips on their website in a few weeks, according to their customer service. Not sure of price or if they will fit these poles, but thought I would share the info.

Glue the ground end with an inserted aluminium bolt
Mine are lighter than BPL's Carbon poles ...
