hello all at HF
i am a 48 year old woman from PA who has acknowledged her dire need to be outside and not discount it because she thinks it's something that everyone wants to do. as a child, i wanted to be a veterinarian but put it aside because i thought surely, this is what EVERY child wants to do and how can i compete? how foolish! since then, i have a successful business and a happy marriage. but now i backpack ... and i am home. my tent/pad/bag is under 5 lbs warm weather weight. ...looking at wet damp tent-sites vs clean dry hammock hanging has me looking into possibilities. if anyone reads this - thank you kindly and warm wishes
