That looks great! It's hard to tell, but did you just roll-hem the edges? If that works, I might go back to mesh pockets for my Red-O'Leary style stuffsack/organizer.

Now if I only had some good no-see-um... If I could stiffen up the mosquito netting I have, it'd sew real easy... I wonder if I can starch the stuff, put it together and wash it out...

Very cool. I think I like this design better than what I made for my FrankenBird. It has end-opening pockets on each end, and side opening pockets in the center... but is not as versatile as the ones John and Red made.

I love the ripstop mesh fabric, but will make the next one from the open center stuff sack design.

How 'bout this idea (from Gumbo - who rides horses)? Instead of sewing a channel on top or a velcro flap, how would it be to make it double - sort of two kits, top to top - and then drape it over the ridge line? Alla saddle bags on a horse...
    I think you're onto something!

I'm liking the concept, but in keeping with avoiding unitaskers, I don't see how it would work..

If I made the stuff sack HUGE, I could drape it over the ridgeline...

The cool thing about using the stuff sack is it's one BIG pocket. with some smaller pockets attached...

Yup, just rolled the edges. I put a channel in it for versatility. It is easily just saddled over the ridgeline.

john sawyer, thanks for another great idea. Saw Running Feather's pic with a line thru the top channel, got me to thinking. Made mine with GG loops at each upper corner.I ran a light cord thru rings at foot & head of hammock to GG loops and now have a traveling ridgeline organizer. Normally stowed at my feet, easlily pulled within reach.
