I ordered mine on Feb 8, talked to Brandon yesterday and he said it should be shipping in about a week!
witold - If you ordered a 1.7 dbl BB, I did, too at just about the same time as you. I just emailed Brandon and told him I can wait for mine since I won't be able to get out until spring anyway. So maybe that will speed it up for you??
I would guess you've researched Warbonnet and seen the rave reviews his products and service are getting all accross the various boards.
If you let hime know your particular issue I think he'll do everything in his power to get it to you ASAP. Drop him a line.
Ah, the old, "How long do I have to wait for my Blackbird?" thread. I've seen so many of these now, and I even believe I may have started one myself, but by now this topic should have its own sub-forum. Be patient, it's well worth the wait - even if it is the longest Two weeks of your life.
Those who expect disappointment are never disappointed.
My WBBB took 19 days from ordering to receiving it(but i also live around 5000 miles away)
I started to stalk the mailman.....

To much time on your hands? Waste some time here
OK, update time:
I paid on Feb 11.
Current USPS status just changed to: "Electronic Shipping Info Received"
No offense, but there should be a big red disclaimer for Warbonnet that they don't really fulfill orders in any sort of reasonable time. I guess whoever runs the place just doesn't care much.
While you might not be happy with the typical lead times for a small cottage business, to imply that Brandon doesn't care much is definitely offensive. His innovative design has contributed heavily to a whole lot of peoples' comfort in the woods, and he's a stand-up guy to boot.
Well, I don't know how the business works. Presumably he makes them all by hand that creates these long lead times? Maybe he lives very far from the post office. I don't know.
But at least future buyers will know it takes a long while. Like I said, there really should be a disclaimer. If you find that offensive, so be it. I certainly don't mean it as such. Just disappointed with the long fulfillment times.
