OK, I will be bringing at least 4 dozen homemade cookies and 20 fried pies which my loving, 5 month pregnant wife cooked especially for this hang. Y'all better enjoy these.

Reading these posts while I'm still at work is getting more difficult by the minute. Hopefully, I'll be heading up by 4pm or so today. Roughly 6 hours to where I'm staying in Lansing. Look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday. I'll go ahead and tell you now to be on full noob alert. I'm coming armed with a note pad and pencil and won't be leaving until I get some answers!!!

In theory, there's no difference between theory and reality.
In reality, there is.
I'm hoping the radar is wrong and you folks have been basking in sunshine all weekend

I too will something make and joy in it's making
The radar was correct. It started raining by 9:00 and stormed all night & didn't really stop raining until 11AM. We were all fine though...high & dry of course...except for the poor girl in the tent. They had to bail water out of it! I'm not kidding! Then rolled it all up in a blue tarp and tied it up along with all it's soggy contents on top of the Jeep.
The Festival day was clear and nice and we put on a good display with many kinds of hammocks. Lots of folks came in and tried them out and got very interested.
Gumbo made some of the best GUMBO I think any of us have ever had and breakfast was a big hit too with Bacon, Venison Sausage, Blueberry Pancakes with homemade syrup & Breakfast Burritos.
The raffle was a hoot! They gave away a Phoenix Underquilt, Cuban Fiber Pack Cover, Grizz Beaks lots of Dutch Ware stuff and many other things donated from other vendors & members. Thanks Dutch for bringing all the stuff and making it so much fun winning it! Can't wait to play with my Grizz Beaks and continuous ridge line with all your dutch ware goodies attached!
Glad to meet so many new folks and reunite with some familiar ones. I had a great time!!
Please check in as you guys get home safely please. I'm already back here in the sunshine in TN drying out.
