Harvesting Down from existing gear ...

It would be helpful to me at least, if those of you who have "harvested" Down from existing gear, your experience?
Knowing what a "messy" project this can be ...

And, does anyone know how a production manufacturer loads the baffels? I'm assuming they would have a machine of some kind.

Thanks in advance for your time ...

    Harvesting ... Down

    Gargoyle,

    Thanks for a start ...

Wonder how many Canada geese it would take to create a couple pounds of down as they are everywhere here in central Indiana?

Haven't found anything on vacuums yet. Got www address?

    ps: Nice tarps ...
Woodburner ... send me a PM on it's weight?

    Down "machines"

    Hangerz

Best I could gather was, the majority of these machines weigh about a TON?
And of course ... they're made in china .....................

When is America going to "wake-up" and start manufacturering again?

AnyBODY have Down/Feather DIY info other than by hand?
