My trail name is Meander because that is what I like to do! My husband, ClayTurner, and I and our 5 kids are long time camp/hike/canoe fans. Over the last year or so we have all slowly moved off the ground for our adventures. ClayTurner was the first hang out. I quickly saw the advantages but was a side sleeper because of back issues my whole life. He was able to locate the JRB BMBH thanks to all the AWESOME discussions on HF. I LOVE IT!! I am not going to lie~ took me a few tries to get used to being enclosed because I am claustrophobic. After a few total freakouts in the middle of the night (quite humorous upon reflection), I became used to the feel. It bears repeating...I LOVE IT! No more mornings spent in PHYSICAL HELL with the accompaning BAD ATTITUDE! ClayTurner is one smart man!
Our kids, 3 boys and 2 girls ages 26 to 18, have all moved off the ground and are all now hanging out with us. We are all very active with the Ozark Trail Association building and maintaining trails here in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. Hammocks have allowed us the freedom to see more and do more with a lot less fuss. We are often asked by ground dwellers about our setup when we go to hangout on group trail builds. We love to take about the advantages of hammocks and always send folks here to HF.
I will try to snap a photo and post it next time we all hang together. Thanks to all of you for sharing!
