    Hi Everyone from Westmoreland, NY.

I am a hunter and camper with kids, and I've always been intrigued by the hammock camping idea. I've been "lurking" around the site for about a year now and I really like this site and the discussions. I have been using a Kifaru Tipi with wood stove for most of my camping and think that the hammock setup is probably the best way to go now. I like Smokehouse's setup a lot. I'm looking to buy a similar setup. Cant wait for spring! its 12f out at noon. I apologize in advance if I mess up on these posts as I am not very computer savy yet. Thanks to everyone for all the useful info.

Welcome to the forum! As you have seen while lurking here, even winter is no obstacle for hammock camping (with the right equipment).
