Hey all,

I'm Matt (clue's in the username

) from Cornwall, U.K. I've always had a passion for camping and the outdoors, and also bikes and hunting, which ultimately led me to bushcraft where I discovered hammocking.

I was not 100% sold on the idea of hammocking, flipping between ground dwelling and tree dwelling and then back again

Then a website that I freqented a lot http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/ introduced a forum where a guy started a thread "how do you hang". Well, that was it, he kindly posted up some vids from Griz and added a load of help and advice and I found my way here

I spent last night in my DD using a single line suspension set-up and had the best nights kip ever so I'd just like to say hello and thanks

Welcome from Florida! I was the same way till I figured out I was way more comfy in the hammock and have never looked back! Lots of info here. Welcome to the madness!
