I am debating between the summer and 3 season burrow top quilts and wanted to see if anyone had first hand experience or better yet a picture of both in stuff sacks next to each other.
I am an extremely warm sleeper and never really get cold. I figure in winter I can just wear an extra layer if need be. However if going with the summer wont save me much pack space then I'll just go with the 3 season for the added comfort.

Here ya go. From left to right Black is Winter, Blue is 3 Season and Green is Summer. In the stuff sacks its also left to right, Green Stuff Sack Winter, Black Stuff Sack 3 Season and Woodland Camo summer. Their all great quilts. I could probably get the 3 season a bit smaller but that's the stuff sack I have and would not want to try and stuff it down any more then it is. the Summer also has some wiggle room to get smaller. The winter is true to size in the stuff sack its in their tight. I do not like to over stuff down any ways in my pack or stuff sack. When they have some wiggle room in the stuff sack IMHO its easier to push your other gear in and around it as opposed to being rigid. Ok that was a tanget.

Both my summer and 3 S burrows came shipped in the same sized stuff sack from stormcrow.
Obviously the summer burrow has a whole lotta squishyness left and will go a fair amount smaller than the 3 S which is a bit tighter packed into the bag.

Awesome thanks for the pics! I'm leaning towards the summer as I have a winter Yeti underquilt that I plan on using 4 seasons unless i magically come upon a few hundred dollars lol. With that much extra under insulation i should be able to take that summer quilt right down into the 20's/30's with decent layering.
Ill let you know what I end up going with!

Just remember its always easier to vent then it is to get warm if you are cold. Even with a winter UQ and layering using a summer TQ in the 20's may be a bit chilling. But I dont know how you plan to layer or how you sleep so I cant I dont really know, its just IMHO. At least for me it would be but I am a cold sleeper. YMMV HYOH
