It's a Davebuddy. It's the second iteration of my attempt at making a wood stove, and this one turned out pretty darned good. Pips, I'll definitely add to the hammock friendly list.

I can vouch for that. I've watched him use it more than once now, and it works just great! Now, if only he'd make one for his trip leader. Hmmmmm.

BTW, I noticed that his wood stove worked MUCH better than my alcohol stove, for which I took kerosene fuel by mistake, instead of denatured alcohol. My pot was far more sooted-up than his. LOL

Ha! One of those "woops" moments indeed. It definitely got the fire going on Sunday morning though. If you'd like my first attempt at the woodburner that I had at Eddy's tent display, I'd be more than happy to give it to you to play with. It works fine, I just like my newer one better because I took a little more time making the holes and whatnot. I have no use for it, so just let me know.

Heck yeah, I'll take it. But if you find someone who really needs it, please give it to them ahead of me. Otherwise, I'll play with it for sure.

I missed you firing that stove up. By the time I took everything down your stove was down to ashes
