    It's here...

Less than 2 weeks after ordering my WBBB dbl. 1.1, Canada Post tells me it's waiting for me to come by and pick it up.
Can't wait to peel open the stuff sack to see what truly lies underneath, I want to run my hands up and down the soft texture of the material as it coyly plays with my senses through it's see-thu bug netting, to check out it's every nook and cranny, to feel it's welcoming interior once I open the zipper and to finally have the pleasurable sensation of being inside...okay back to reality!!
Hopefully I can get it tonight and check it out and get prepared for my first hang, albeit in the basement this weekend. Maybe I'll start to get the flu this afternoon so I can go home early.

I'm glad I read that first sentence because I would have totally taken that out of context. haha Have a blast with your new BB and take some pics of your setup too.

You're killing me. Mine arrived and I'm 600+ miles from home! I won't get back to play with it until beginning of next week! ARGH!!!

Enjoy your new blackbirdie (I'm totally jealous). Take pics so we can see your new beauty!

I've read a few posts of anticipation, and written a few myself. This one takes on a whole new dimension. I hope the "meeting" was enjoyable for both of you.

It was a little bit of a let down, not what I expected as it didn't share my enthusiasm. As I have nowhere to hang it for a couple of days it just laid on the floor and was unresponsive to the attention that I showed it. As I tried it's zippers, and opened up the 2nd layer while caressing the bug netting it might as well have been in it's stuff sack. Although it looked so attractive and enticing sprawled out on my floor; it was trim, very neat, silky smooth and unflawed, it had that attitude of look but don't touch until we get to spend some time getting to know each other.

OK, so, uh, yeah...so,uh,...can one throw a WBBB in the washing machine, if one might need to do so?

So, really, does Scott sell cars or write adverts for certain artistic endeavors??
Excellent post, Scott. You should see if Brandon will pay you to write for him!
