    patch a hole in sil?

I finished my blue asym tarp, only to find that there was a thin spot about 8 inches in from the edge at one end. Looks like is snagged on something and has a small tear.
    Probably 1/2" x 1/4"

Wondering if some unthinned silicone caulk would be up to the task of filling this small hole, or if I'd be better off to sew a small patch over it.

    Thoughts on fixing this?

I used a Tear-Aid patch I got at Acadamy Sports for a similar incident, work quite well. Thanks to some suggestions from others on the forum

If its not in to bad of an area, you could sew a (made by) label over it that has your name on it...

    Brilliant!
It is in the right place and the right size for this.

Use some Sil-net ..... it will fix it

just lay it flat on a table and put alittle sli-net on the rip...let it set and your ready to rock
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
