i have found an old army parachute in my garage and want to make it into a double layer hammock but have yet to find a pattern to make it. does anyone have a pattern that i could use for this project?

Go into the DIY section and you will find so many patterns you will be buried with ideas.
I wanted to do the same thing with my parachute. Haven't yet because of the way the chute is constructed lots and lots of smaller fabric panels. I don't think it would be very comfortable with all of the seams.

thanks for the info guys i decided to just use is to cover my car and buy some rip stop.
