Who's up for an AZ hang 2/25-2/27?

Plan on Going "Out There" this next weekend. Thinking the Sheds will start falling soon, Big ones always fall first. Forecast for Payson next weekend 55/29 party Cloudy. Maybe one of the Trails by Boy Scout Camp (south east facing Box Canyon) Short hike lots of Exploring/Scouting? Chance to test new gear.

Gnome ol buddy.. i was just entertaining the idea of a Crown King adventure. check out this place.. (we would HAVE to be stealth..) as there is no overnight camping near the water, but a distance away in nice maintained areas, it will likely have no traffic this time of year.

we might go lower to avoid the 15 degree temps expected here..

Hey Te-Wa Are there trees? Looks like Gold pan country, will check it out on BLM Geo Communicator for claim filings. Got my Winter base weight down to 20lbs. thanks to the Forum and some of your fellow Forum vendors. Will probably make it to the ABC meeting tomorrow.

Short Drive, Short Hike, Two Vehicles ok fine. Figured I would head up Friday after work, take the Control road (off 87 south of Pine) will be open in good condition over to the road to boyscout camp, fallows Weber creek north couple miles to High Line trail head. Can go High Line Trail east a short ways or Weber Creek Trail north a little ways and make Base Camp. Plan on doing some Antler hunting/ Day hiking, New Gear Break in. Weather looks as though it might hold until Sunday Am. What do you think?
