Jerry,
I don't have a scale that will measure something that light. Sorry!
I'll take pictures of someone in the hammock and post them this evening.

Any worries with wind and the open bottom? From the pictures it looks like the net is slightly tapered, so maybe the wind wouldn't blow it around too much? How do you put it on the hammock?
KJ
No worries with the wind. Once you get in and load the hammock with your body, the net conforms and tightens against the sides and bottom creating a seal.
Easy to install by passing your suspension through the one end, hang the netting over the ridgeline, let each side drop down, then zip up the other side. Took me all of 15 seconds to do it.

Do you or someone you know suffer from Hammock Gear Acquisition Syndrome of HGAS? When diet and exercise aren't enough, adding the Hammock Debt Protection Plan may decrease the amount you spend on gear from 39 to 60 percent. Unlike some other bank-account-reducing medications, the Hammock Debt Protection Plan is HammockForums approved to reduce the risk of overspending, depleting bank accounts and spousal disapproval. The Hammock Debt Protection Plan is not for everyone including people who surround themselves with others suffering from HGAS, frequent hangers or those who may become hangers. You need a simple balance statement from your bank to check for HGAS problems. Tell your doctor and your local cottage industry manufacturer if you are taking other medications that cause you to repeatedly click "Check Out Now". This may be a sign of a rare but serious side effect.
Ask your doctor about The Hammock Debt Protection Plan... for your life and your hammock gear.
