Haven't been on their site for a while. I'll have to go look at that. Thanks.

This is designed for two people from what the site read. Have you and your wife slept in it? I have my own WB BB but want to get a double for when the wife comes on trips, and the clark vertex is just to much money. I would like to hear more about this unit and how it is with two people in it.

I can't imagine 2 people being comfortable in any hammock I have tried, including my Safari. However, my Safari is definitely right at the top of my list of comfort (for one person). Still, I have never tried any hammock with 2 people in it, so I don't really know.

BTW, that weight listed by HH includes the fairly heavy coated nylon ( not Sil ) hex tarp. Which I think is about 23 oz?

When I hit the trails I pack the Safari in all but the cold of winter then the Clark NX-250 goes out. I love how comfortable it is. It is so easy on the old bones (degenerative disc disease) and on the knees (parts removed over the years plus arthritis) but I don't think of it as a room for two but, just a castle for one.

Whether trail or paddle don't you know
My hammock is the way to go
There peace and solitude I find
To ease all troubles from my mind
Both body and soul revel in delight
As day surrenders to inky night

I picked up a "net-less" Safari from the HH October clearance sale and slipped on some whoopie slings. This Safari now weighs 1# 13 oz - then add the weight of a tarp. Big and comfy.

Yep. It's 22 oz without guylines or ridgeline. It's enormous, and will definitely keep you dry!

I spent the weekend in mine, and I truly love the way you can spread out. I get in, turn sideways, and put my head right up against the netting, and drift off to sleep. It's by far the most comfortable I have slept. It's worth every ounce to me.
