    SOLD: JRB Bear Mountain Bridge

I have a like new JRB Bear Mountain Bridge. Sadly after anxiously awaiting for several months, I can no longer afford it. I tried it out for about ten minutes and figured out that it will cause my 230 lb. body to suffer from shoulder squeeze. It would be so great if it was wider and had black 3-piece spreader bars. Perhaps the Jacks will come out with a plus-size model? I just kept it long enough to show to my buddy, so two clean folks have laid in it a total of about 15 minutes total. It's about as new as used gets.

It includes the stuff sack, bug net, pocket, and spreader bars. I will include the tag if I can find them.

$170 deposited into my PayPal account gets it shipped out the next day. What a deal!

You can see in the photo that it fits an Exped Downmat very well. Also, if you are setting it up for the first time in the high wind, be careful, those things will start spinning and won't stop!

Pan has mentioned that they will be selling a larger version later in the year.
That's a nice price. Anyone under 6' and probably under 190lbs. should feel pretty comfy in it. I'm 5'7 160lbs and sleep well in it. A little tight on my side and pure heaven on my back. Their site says it will fit folks up to 6' 1" and 225lbs. This should definately be changed to lower limits IMO.

I just wanted to add that this is about $42 cheaper than ordering one new. No waits either.

no kidding. They make great sails too. Another good reason to pitch the tarp first.

Now it's not that hard to make a larger DIY version...but you do have to know how to sew or find a friend who can...don't be scared of the bridge hammock thread, the math monsters just like to show off

Grizz is right. I cut the fabric to my specs today and hemmed the short sides. Super easy. Waiting on the webbing from Sailrite and it will soon be done. I never thought I would be building myself a bridge with all that nerd......ahum....excuse me....highly intellectual talk on the bridge thread.

I didn't have a tarp large enough to cover the thing anyway. That's another reason I'm selling it.

I'll consider any offers. I thought this was supposed to be the latest and greatest thing?

    Latest, but not necessarily greatest.

It may be partially my fault, since I set the aftermarket price on these a bit lower when I sold mine. That sale only lasted a couple of hours.

It is pretty great, but for me ( 6'1", 205 lbs) it needs to be a couple of inches wider, I have already found out.

It's something I would love to have, but the wife gets mad when I buy stuff I need to replace each trip, you know, food and fuel. I have to keep the wife happy so I have to pass.
