    Putting a fixed eye on guylines

    Do you guys just use a locked brummel for a fixed eye on a guyline?

    Yep... all the way around on all tarps and on my Light Hiker pull outs.

    Thats what I used too. You can get by with a 1" bury, but its hard on the fingers. Not alot of material to get ahold of. The marlin splice itself will carry most of the load for what a guyline will see.
