Gave this a run last night in the backyard and was pleased with the results.

I relocated the line to go from / to the decender rings as opposed to where they are connected in the posted pics.

No stretch or breakages to report.

I used the “pinch” technique to get the ridge line to what I thought was as taut (thanks Knotty) as it should be, and to use a shugism snoozed out all night.

Must admit that I’m not sure I have the length of the ridge line 100% sorted, but the main reason that I found this so cool is that it helps me get the set-up of the hammock more consistent. It allowed for a much improved diagonal position and I just love kick’n back, sitting in the hammock without it digging into the back of my legs.

Right – what’s next? …….. Bug netting improvements.
