    HH Tree Hugger Replacements

Just checked my mail and found 2 manilla envelopes from Hennessy Hammocks. The envelopes contained free replacement tree huggers along with a very nice note from Tom explaining the potential issue with the old straps.

I have converted to the ring/buckle setup on my 2 HH's so I'm sending them back, but I was really impressed with their proactive service. I am, and will continue to be, a big HH supporter.

Some of the recent straps are more susceptible to abrasion from the smaller diameter spectra support ropes. It seems to be caused by the friction of pulling the spectra thru the loops when tightening the hammock.
