I've owned both. I like the edging and tie-outs on the MacCat better. But I love the stealthier color and door option with my Warbonnet Big MamaJamba.

If you don't mind the glowing color of the light grey MacCat, it is a good option. If stealth is a key issue, go with the WB.

I have a Spinn standard & love it. I also have a black micro & black deluxe on the way. And I have a grey deluxe too. The only WB tarp I have is a Superfly. The one thing I love about my SF is that tarp can be reefed on. Brandon's tarps love to be set up tight. I'll have to agree with the others, you cant go wrong with either.

Call me psychic but me thinks you will settle for a MacCat Deluxe in Spinn.

I have tarps from both, and both are awesome. You can't really go wrong with either - both are quite well made.

Tarps are one of those things where we are fortunate to have many great makers around here, all putting out quality products.

Seems to me the biggest difference is the catenary cuts. The war bonnets seem to be less deep. More coverage. But do you need that extra coverage? Who knows. Brians been accused of over building his tarps, that to me seems like a good thing. War bonners tarps seem plenty strong without the grossgrain edging. I just got a superfly (and like it a lot) and have a maccat standard on the way.

I plan on setting up my Superfly this coming weekend...

I'm just glad Brandon doesn't offer them in Spinn, or my credit card would now be down for the count
