Greetings from Alabama

Hey fellas, I'm a new guy to the forum but have researched it extensively.
I just received a AHE Owyhee Top Quilt from Paul and must say it is pretty friggin sweet. I'm waitin on a bird and mamajamba tarp. I've basically used this forum to decide on my upgrades. I'm coming from an ENO setup that is pretty worn out.

welcome to HF from Bama......I don't know how far south in LA you are but there is a group of us getting together at the Turnipseed Camp area near MT Cheaha during the March 3-5 weekend. You are more that welcome to come hang out with us if you would like, yeah I know it a terrible choice of words!!!!!!

That sounds cool. I'm north of mobile on the Tombigbee River, but I'm always up north - my lady friend is still in school at UA. I've been all over Cheaha and would definetly like to check ya'll out. I'm 27 so I guess i would fit in right?

You would fit in fine. There will be some ground dwellers there as well. You might be one of the youngest in the group, but not by much.

I'll see if my girlfriend wants to come along. She's only been on the cave creek trail there. She's very personable so she'll definetly want to meet everyone there.
