Hello from balmy Vermont

New here and just wanted to say hi.

Decided to try hammock camping and stumbled upon this forum while researching hammocks, been lurking for a few weeks. I've done a fair amount of traditional tent camping but only ever used a hammock in the backyard or for relaxation while camping.

Looking forward to spending time here learning. Got a WBBB on order and am hoping to break it in on the Long Trail this summer. Might have to string it up out in the snow though....just because

Below 0 last night, and probably again tonight so I'm not in that much of a hurry to try it out...

Thanks all for the 'warm' welcome. It's just been crazy weather around here- 55 last Friday, 5 Saturday morning. We've got layer upon layer of crusty snow- backcountry skiing is like acting out a deathwish!
Looking forward to spring this year - and a chance to check-out hammock camping.
